Hello people!

The horror of national fencers,heavy attention,and whisperings of passers by IS OVERRR!Ahahah.

Yup yup,Pesta Sukan competition today,I've said it a million times and I'll say it again,we fenced the national team people and got TRASHED.But we had loads of fun!I thank Coach Cedric for being there to watch and encourage us while we were fencing.Chloe,Ellen,Clara and I were super enthusiastic,though we didn't really feel like fencing at all.We did our best though,and we had tonnes of fun(: Our opponents were super super scary on the piste,but overall,they were really nice people ^^

So when we entered we saw a SWARM of fencers.


And majority of em were guys.Felt a little singled out,especially that most/all of them were FOILISTS AND SABRE.I couldn't see any Epee fencers till WAYYYY later.

I liked how I delivered my first point.Fast and accurate,ahahaha.My opponent's awesome at attacking,as well as screaming.She let her arm down for quite awhile then,(I don't know why,probably to invite attack)and after I felt that it was time I CHARGED AT HER.Almost like a Fleche.It's always like that against national fencers,last year during the MINIME I fenced against another national cadet the first point was mine too.But after that,everything spiraled down down down.

I'm sure I got a total of around 6-8 points for the team.Quite pathetic,but it's ok,we didn't expect to win anyways,but more of we going there to get trashed.Experience and bonding was what we got out of it,and that's good enough (:

I'm waiting for coach Cedric to send us the photo he took for the SMSS team.Then I'll upload it soon!

After lunch and all Ellen and I went to the MRT station,for Ellen was to go home and as for me,the Edge.We got LOADS AND LOADS of attention.I'm pretty sure I saw a guy pressing his nose from the bus window staring at our blades.In the MRT too we got attention,for me I got lots of attention from the children around me.One tried imitating fencing,and asking his dad 'Is it the one that goes like this?'.Ain't that so cute.

When I reached edge I sneaked into the sanctuary with my blades and left them underneath my chair.But quite a lot of people liked it,nic liked the grip,Sam liked how it looks,and the rest just found it unusual,but they liked it anyways.Oh yeah,sermon was GOOD!!!!!I'll post more about it next time.

Dinner at macs.Three guys sitting in front of me pointed and and whispered stuff.It sorta went something like this:

'Hey look at that girl there with the two blades.'
'Oh that one over there?'
'It's fencing right?'
'Yeah,looks pretty cool.It goes something like this right....'

Then it trailed off,and they got back into their own conversations.Finally I can have my dinner in peace.Talked to Dawn,Huimin and some others,and when we left the table for home,they started again.I heard this conversation CLEAR CLEAR CLEAR.

'Hey hey look it's that girl!'
*mumbles some stuff about fencing*
'She's like the girl for you man....'

WHAT WHAT WHAT????

God please tell me that I heard that wrongly.I don't like it when this happens.When people react weirdly to me fencing.I guess I'll have to let it go then.

When I went home I got stared at again,these two people were nicer at least,they saw me coming with my fencing stuff and made way for me,but they seemed pretty interested in the blades.

I got home at LAST.And I have muscles now,hard and with shape.Toned!^^

I spent time with God on the bus,and talked to him.It feels really good,especially to know that you have a God who cares so much for you,who's always by your side and loves you!Praise the Lord(:
