Hello people!

I had a busy busy busy week.I'm so glad its coming to a close!I thank God that he was with me throughout,really.

To start off,on Wednesday and Thursday I had to go for the Leader's Camp at Sarimbun Scout Camp.Being at that place really makes you appreciate and love your home more definitely,and when Youth Camp was fly/mosquito infested,Sarimbun was fly/mosquito/frog/colorful insect infested.I found a colorful orange spotted spider in the toilet before,and on one of the Leader's bag there was a furry black spotty caterpillar.Pretty and creepy(:

And we had to pitch and tear down our own tents.It was a interesting experience,having to hammer iron pegs into the ground and stabilizing the tent with wooden poles,guidelines and such.Nonetheless,it was tiring,and sleeping in the tents on floorboards was a lot more painful than I thought.

Outdoor cooking was difficult.The fire wouldn't get properly started and the oil wouldn't sizzle,and we had to use up whatever the trainers gave us.So the food we cooked were DISGUSTING.Still,it was our lunch and we didn't really have much of any choice but alas,TO EAT! xD Explains why most of us CHIONGED for a second helping during dinner.And I missed my family lots.

I was super glad to be home,and discovered many many many many mosquito bites.At least 6 or more.


And today,there's the long awaited RJC invites competition!Pathetically,only Siti,Stacia and I went for the individual competition from our school.

Henry referee-ed this match of boy's foil,and watching them fence was more fun than I thought.Because they did a lot of crazy,fun and violent moves.

Yes,many many many fencers,all a lot older than I.

And we met many JC/Polytechnic people from ages 17-19 years old,and they were stunned by my age,and other than Siti and Stacia I'm also oone of the youngest there.So when I was introduced to the older people the average conversation went like this:

Older Girl: Hello,I'm XXX and I'm 17/18/19,how about you?
Me: Oh hello!I'm Gin Ming and I'm 14.
Older Girl: Wah So young ah!Never mind,it's good to start young *smiles*

They were all very very nice to me,like nice big older sisters.But how they fenced on the other hand,was AMAZING.They crash here crash there and I lost to all of em except one.And one jabbed me on the exact same spot twice,HARD.Now got one bruise there.Haha...And in my school I was the only one who got into the Direct Elimination round,as well as probably the youngest who got in there.My ranking was number 18 amongst 25 over other people.

In the Elimination bout I fenced the girl who got rank 15.And I lost to her by 3 points.SO CLOSE LUH!Haha....it's ok,I still have other competitions that I can go for.Now I look forward to the team event!

YAY.I thank God for so many things!And tomorrow is going to be our LOVELY FRANNY'S birthday!And after that on Monday will be the GREAT YMMIT STAR'S birthday! Gotta start preparing gifts for such special people that are gifts to my life(:
